Prepare twelve evenly sized paniyaram, appe, or paddu in one batch. The cast iron body retains heat across the moulds, supporting crisp edges and evenly cooked centres when the pan is gradually preheated.

The pan arrives pre-seasoned and develops better release with continued use. Apply a small amount of oil to each pit, clean without prolonged soaking, and dry and oil the pan before storage.
